I Confess

I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done, and in what I have failed to do; through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.

"For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." (Colossians 1:13-14)
"Then He adds: 'Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.' And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary." (Hebrews 10:17-19)
"Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits - Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion." (Psalms 103:2-4)
"For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You." (Psalm 86:5)
You're in my prayers.

Hello Fabiola. Last year I made a big mistake, I did not have the courage to look at God and the Virgin Mary. The next day I finded a priest and I went to confession, so I got rid of a great sorrow. In the Bible there is a psalm number 51 called "Miserere", I read it so many times to ask for forgiveness from God and in the end I finally felt free from my guilt. I will pray for you, come on, you're not alone !!

Hey Guys, I should probably let you know I'm not in a pit a despair with no one to turn to! I just really like this prayer we say at Mass and it reminds me of that night at the beach pictured above. Your prayers are always needed and welcome!
