Requests!

Hey Guys! I've been wanting to write but I'm having trouble zeroing in on something specific... so many possibilities! So I was thinking I'd ask all of you to give me some of your ideas, or things you would like to read about. It can be anything really, as long as you don't ask me to write about lawnmowers (it would be a short). You can also make an art-related requests of course.

Have a truly blessed day!

How about identity? I liked your body image exploration. I am what you would call multicultural and feel that I sometimes have to choose between one identity or the other. I hate when ppl ask me what I am (as if it mattered..) I feel like I battle my mind regarding my ethnicity because of what strangers might think. In short, I think you should write about your personal image like your name culture etc, since you already did body image.

Not sure how to word this, I guess that will be your job lol. I was wondering if your ever use your art to express yourself in adoration. I am always curious as to how different people experience adoration. As a writer, I am so inspired there -- I definitely write my best stuff, the Spirit is just out in full force, and wondered if that was the same for artist?

Hmm I feel like it'd be interesting to hear your thoughts on love and romance, your experiences and also how religion influences your decisions, I guess. We're at such an awkward phase in our life where we're trying to figure out what we really want, what we really need and what we'll want in the future in terms of a significant other, you know? And people get hurt so easily when the love between two people is imbalanced. But can two people ever love each other the same amount? I feel like someone always loves more than the other. See, now I'm starting to ramble, haha.

How about acceptance or say tolerance of homosexuals and lesbians? I am just saying that as this catholic generation we are waaaay waaay more tolerant that our parents. So if I want to live with a gay roomate my dad would have a heart attack but I would be ok even though his beliefs and mine are in tune

Fabi! First off, I miss you. :) How about an art piece that expresses how you saw God when you were a child? For instance, when I was little, I thought that the night sky, with all its stars and moon, was a huge dark blanket that covered the earth- and the specks of light shining through were the bits of God's light that couldn't be kept out. The child's mind is SO expressive! Just an idea. :)

I've been looking at all your drawings, and I think they're amazing!
As for a request, I have (if you will) quite a challenge to offer. I've always loved the poem "A Child of the Snows" by Chesterton. I think that it is incredibly beautiful, and I was wondering...if you could somehow express it in a drawing. You could take a verse or even a line and interpret it as you will. It would be difficult, but I think the result would be marvelous.
Here's a link to the poem:
